The Verizon Business Login is the authenticated entry point into My Verizon Business, where administrators, managers, and line users reach the role-scoped dashboard that controls wireless lines, devices, shared data pools, usage alerts, and expense reporting. This guide walks through every step of the login — user ID entry, password entry, two-factor authentication, first-time setup, password reset, multi-factor configuration, and lockout recovery — with guidance on which 2FA method best fits each user type.
The login architecture is the same on desktop browsers and the My Biz mobile app. After initial enrollment, biometric 2FA on the mobile app reduces subsequent logins to under two seconds. This page does not host a login form — use the portal's official URL for live authentication.

Follow these steps in order. The entire process typically completes in under 30 seconds for returning users.
Open a web browser and go to the My Verizon Business portal, or launch the My Biz app on iOS or Android. Confirm that the browser address bar shows the secure padlock and the correct domain. The portal supports current versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox. Outdated browsers trigger a compatibility warning because of TLS 1.3 requirements. On mobile, the app offers the smoothest experience with biometric shortcut after initial enrollment.
Type your My Verizon Business user ID in the first field. User IDs are case-sensitive and do not always match the email on file — administrators sometimes assign user IDs like "jsmith" that differ from the user's email. If you entered an incorrect user ID, the portal responds with a generic "credentials not recognized" message for security reasons rather than specifying whether the user ID or password was wrong. Click Continue to proceed.
Type your account password. Click Sign In. Password policy requires 12 characters minimum with mixed case, at least one digit, and at least one special character. Passwords expire every 180 days for administrators and 365 days for line users. Password managers such as 1Password, Bitwarden, Dashlane, and the built-in browser managers work correctly with the My Verizon Business login form. If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot Password (see Password Reset below).
Enter the 6-digit SMS code delivered to your registered mobile number, the rotating code from your authenticator app, or approve the biometric prompt on the My Biz app. The 2FA challenge expires after 10 minutes (SMS) or 30 seconds (TOTP). Once 2FA succeeds, the role-scoped dashboard loads and the Verizon Business Login is complete. Biometric authentication on the My Biz app bypasses password entry for subsequent launches within a 7-day window.
Every successful Verizon Business Login satisfies each of the requirements below.

| Two-Factor Authentication | Mandatory on every login; SMS, TOTP, or biometric via My Biz app | User (enrolled at first login) |
| Registered Mobile Number | Current number for SMS 2FA delivery | User profile |
| Authenticator App (optional) | Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, or any RFC 6238 | User |
| Browser or App | Chrome/Safari/Edge/Firefox current; iOS 16+ or Android 11+ for My Biz app | User device |

Password policy aligns with guidance in NIST SP 800-63B and FCC authentication requirements for telecommunications carrier portals.
Forgotten passwords resolve in under 10 minutes without a phone call in most cases.
On the login page, click Forgot Password. Enter your user ID and the email address on file. A password-reset link arrives from the My Verizon Business sender within 5 minutes — check spam if it does not appear. The link remains valid for 1 hour. Click the link, answer the security question you set at account creation, and enter the new password twice. The new password activates immediately and invalidates all active sessions on other devices. Log in with the new password and complete 2FA as usual.
If the email on file is out of date or the user cannot receive the reset link, the account administrator can trigger a password reset from the admin console. The administrator navigates to the user profile, clicks Reset Password, and chooses Send Temporary Password to Email or Generate One-Time Password (delivered verbally or through internal messaging). The user logs in with the temporary password and is immediately prompted to set a permanent one. If the administrator is unavailable, call +1-800-922-0204.
Choose the method that matches the user's role, risk profile, and device habits.
Easiest setup — only requires a registered mobile number. Receive a 6-digit code via text message on each login. Best for line users without authenticator app familiarity. Caveat: SIM-swap attacks can intercept SMS codes, so SMS 2FA is not recommended for administrators managing high-value accounts. Delivery latency is typically 2-15 seconds.
Install Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, or any RFC 6238-compliant app. Scan the QR code displayed during 2FA enrollment. The app generates a 6-digit code that rotates every 30 seconds. No cellular connection required once enrolled. Resists SIM-swap attacks. Recommended for administrators, billing contacts, and users who handle sensitive CPNI data.
After installing the My Biz app and completing first-time login with SMS or TOTP, enable biometric 2FA in Security Settings. Subsequent logins on that device use Face ID (iPhone), Touch ID, or fingerprint (Android). The biometric never leaves the device — only a cryptographic assertion reaches the portal. Fastest method — typically under 2 seconds — and the default for mobile sessions after enrollment.
Five consecutive failed login attempts lock the account. The lockout prevents brute-force attacks but may inconvenience legitimate users with typos or forgotten credentials.
Standard lockouts auto-clear after 30 minutes from the fifth failed attempt. Wait out the timer, complete a password reset if unsure of the correct password, and try again. The lockout does not delete any account data or change 2FA settings — configuration persists across the lockout window. Repeated lockouts within 24 hours escalate to administrator review to identify whether the cause is a compromised credential or a forgotten password.
The account administrator can unlock a user immediately from the admin console. Navigate to User Profiles, select the locked user, and click Unlock Account. This also resets the failed-attempt counter. For suspected compromise, the administrator may choose to force a password reset at the same time. If the administrator is also locked out or unavailable, call +1-800-922-0204 and select the account-lockout option — the 24/7 technical support team unlocks after identity verification.
Go to the My Verizon Business portal URL or open the My Biz app to complete your Verizon Business Login using the steps above. Questions about 2FA enrollment, password reset, or account lockout route to support or the Help Centre. First-time users whose credentials have not arrived should check with their account administrator.

Five failed attempts trigger a 30-minute lockout. Wait it out or ask the administrator to unlock from the admin console. Call +1-800-922-0204 for 24/7 support if admin is unavailable.
Sessions expire after 15 minutes of inactivity. My Biz app uses device-bound tokens with 7-day biometric shortcut. Remember This Device caps at 30 days with fresh 2FA after. See security.
